Learn how to make rice paper
Rice batter spread thin as paper, steamed in seconds, then set on bamboo racks to take the sun. It's the backbone of Vietnamese street food — pour a round yourself and you'll understand why the good ones cost what they cost.

DalatVisit coffee plantation

Visit a Coffee Farm
This is the one corner of Vietnam that grows arabica instead of robusta — the French planted it above 1,500 metres around Cầu Đất in the 1920s, where cool highland nights slow the cherries and concentrate the flavour. Ride out through the hill plantations at harvest, pick the red fruit by hand, and taste why Dalat coffee tastes nothing like the rest of the country's.
Visit Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Linh Phuoc Pagoda
At the end of the heritage train line in Trại Mát, a temple built entirely from wreckage — every surface mosaicked in broken glass, porcelain, and pottery, down to a 49-metre dragon scaled in twelve thousand beer bottles. Locals call it Ve Chai, "the scrap pagoda," and it carries Dalat's tallest bell tower.
